Does Sierra Mist Have Caffeine?

Know the caffeine content of this and other sodas.

Updated: March 07, 2023
Written by: Bradley Carver

Sierra Mist is a soda that is commonly found and served in several fast food locations and dine-in restaurants. This lemon-lime flavored soda was introduced into the soda market by PepsiCo in 1999 to compete with Coca-Cola’s Sprite. The soda has been around for over nearly two decades and shows no signs of becoming replaced by PepsiCo.

Soda is a very commonly consumed beverage and many consumers are unaware of which sodas are caffeine free or not. Generally, most lemon-lime flavored sodas are caffeine-free, however, it's important to always be certain of what you consume. This article holds all of the information regarding the contents of Sierra Mist. Curious about the content in other sodas? At (website name), we have all you need to know about other sodas like (soda article link here).

The most recent changes to Sierra Mist’s branding were in 2016, when the name of the soda had changed  Twist Mist for a brief two years before reverting back to Sierra Mist, where it remains to this day.

Final Thoughts

Similar to Sierra Mist, a lot of sodas like Sprite contain zero caffeine in their drink. This makes most sodas a bad source of caffeine. We recommend using something caffeine-rich, like PZAZ on-the-go energy spray, to give you that boost during the day.
